I have a big angelfish that rarely, but fights a pink kissing gourami I have. If I get another angel fish, will they team up and all attack it? I also have a blood parrot cichlid (tropical) and it attacks it more than the angelfish. Can I still get one? Do pink kissing gouramis like being with each other?

My angel fish used to be the first one to eat, and now when it sees the food in the water, it acts like it does not care about it anymore, but when a piece comes near it, it does it, but not as much as before. Why is this? (Just if this helps, my parrot fish explodes when it sees food and it swims quickly around the tank trying to eat everything, but it does not).

I noticed my angelfish is not eating alot, and its tank if full of algae (don’t worry I am planning to clean it soon) but I also noticed that its making these weired movements with its mouth, like it is sucking something, is that just behavior or is it trying to eat the algae, maybe that explains why it is not eating many of the flakes I give it.

hi i have a ten gallon freshwater fish tank that i have had for three months. the fish i have are two glass fish, one ghost fish, and i just recently added two angel fish. the tank has freshwater sand that i bought at pet-smart along with 3 decor’s (don’t worry its not crowded at all) So yes i would like to know what other fish should i get? i know i cant get too much because of the lack of space the tank offers. but i would like to get one algae eating fish to control the algae, “that way i wont have to do some many frequent water changes” and one (or if possible more then one) real nice fish… i remember when i went to pet-smart i saw one fish that caught my eye it was beautiful and expensive it was a $20 fish that was eel like all black with a white stripe and it was small and could grow up to four inches it was a tropical semi aggressive fish but the person that work there told me its extremely nice and not aggressive at all in fact it is such a rare fish that they get one a week… a response to this will be greatly appreciated also i have a 10 gallon whisper filter i was told by a friend that i should get a bigger filter to keep the tank cleaner if so can some one recommend me to the best filter for that size tank ( 10 gallon ) and price is no problem just want the best for my fish thank you
